A: The Maple Gourmet Road was created in 2007 by the Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers (FPAQ) to help people discover the vast potential of maple products.

A: The FPAQ has developed a rigorous selection process for identifying the 100 Maple Masters that are the crème de la crème. Criteria include creativity, inventiveness, rigour and judicious use of maple products.

A: Yes. Each year, the FPAQ updates the selection of establishments along the Maple Gourmet Road to ensure the 100 Maple Masters are the most faithful representation of the latest food trends in maple.

A: No! Not only are there Maple Masters in 20 of Quebec’s most beautiful regions, from Abitibi-Témiscamingue to Greater Montreal, you can even find them in France and Japan.
